What is the average cart recovery rate via WhatsApp on Shopify?

While traditional email cart recovery averages 3% to 8%, automated WhatsApp checkout recovery sequences routinely achieve 15% to 25% recovery rates due to 98% open rates and 1-click instant cart rebuilding links.

When is the best time to send the first WhatsApp cart recovery reminder?

We recommend dispatching the first reminder between 30 and 45 minutes after checkout abandonment, while purchase intent remains highest in the customer's mind.

How many WhatsApp cart recovery messages should I send?

A 3-message sequence spaced over 24 to 36 hours yields optimal recovery without triggering user opt-outs: Message 1 at 45 min, Message 2 at 6 hours, and Message 3 at 24 hours.

Does Manggo Labs automatically stop reminders once an order is placed?

Yes. Manggo Labs listens to Shopify's real-time orders/create webhooks. As soon as a customer completes their purchase, all subsequent scheduled cart recovery reminders are automatically cancelled.

Do I need Meta approval for abandoned cart message templates?

Yes. Abandoned cart recovery notifications are business-initiated marketing messages that require Meta template pre-approval with dynamic parameter variables.
