What is the ideal time to send the first WhatsApp cart recovery reminder?

Sending the first reminder between 30 and 60 minutes after cart abandonment yields the highest response rate, as the purchase intent is still fresh in the shopper's mind.

How many WhatsApp messages should I send for abandoned cart recovery?

We recommend a maximum 3-message sequence spaced across 24 to 36 hours (e.g., at 45 minutes, 6 hours, and 24 hours). Sending more than 3 messages increases the risk of customer opt-outs.

Does Manggo Labs automatically stop sending reminders once a customer buys?

Yes. As soon as Manggo Labs receives the orders/create webhook from Shopify, any pending abandoned cart reminder sweeps for that session are automatically cancelled.

Do these abandoned cart templates require Meta approval?

Yes. Because abandoned cart recovery messages are initiated by the business, they must use Meta-approved Marketing templates with dynamic parameter variables.

Can I include direct discount links in WhatsApp recovery templates?

Yes. You can use Shopify dynamic discount checkout links that automatically apply a promo code (such as SAVE10) when the customer clicks the checkout link.
