What is an acceptable RTO percentage for Indian Shopify stores?

While raw unverified COD orders often experience 25% to 35% RTO, top-performing Indian D2C brands that implement automated WhatsApp verification, address hygiene checks, and prepaid conversion incentives keep overall RTO below 12% to 15%.

How does WhatsApp verification reduce fake orders?

Immediately after an order is placed, an automated WhatsApp notification is dispatched with interactive Confirm and Cancel buttons. If the customer entered a fake phone number, the message fails; if they experienced buyer remorse, they cancel before you pay forward courier freight.

Does Manggo Labs hold or cancel unconfirmed COD orders automatically?

Yes. Manggo Labs can automatically tag unconfirmed orders in Shopify as 'COD Pending Verification' or place them on fulfillment hold until the buyer interacts with the WhatsApp confirmation prompt.

Can I offer discounts to convert COD orders into prepaid?

Yes. In your automated WhatsApp COD confirmation message, you can include a 1-click Razorpay or UPI link offering an instant 5% to 10% discount if the customer completes payment online immediately.

Does Manggo Labs charge per-message fees for COD verification?

No. Manggo Labs does not charge any platform markup on WhatsApp messages. You only pay standard official Meta utility messaging rates directly to Meta, plus your flat Manggo Labs monthly SaaS subscription.
